Through packaging optimizations we have reduced the amount of fiber used in our corrugated boxes while maintaining strength and durability, saving 160 acres of trees.
Over the past year alone, we used 3.1 million pounds of recycled plastic bottles in our supply packaging. This one change resulted in impressive energy savings; enough to power 2,770 homes annually and reduced greenhouse gases by 21,500 tons per year, the equivalent of permanently taking 3,725 cars off of the road.
